The Garden Club depends on the annual flower basket sales to help supplement the cost of the flowers and supplies used in the planting sites around Mountlake Terrace. Due the recent downturn in the economy, the funding for the Garden Club was dropped in 2009. Therefore, the Garden Club will be relying solely on the flower basket sales and the generosity of the public and local businesses to continue beautifying our city with flowers.
